Is immersive armor still good? ›

How well does immersive armors and weapons hold up today? They hold up just fine - though if you look, you can probably find retextures for them. Also, a mod not being updated has nothing to do with its viability for current play - provided it still works - which those mods do.

The performance impact of mashup armors is virtually non-existent, and that is why Immersive Armors has literally hundreds of thousands of users that do not report any performance hit. The only reason you should avoid the mod is if you genuinely just don't like the armors that it has available.

When it comes to weapons, Dragonbone outperfroms Daedric by a small margine in damage but also has a heavier weight.

Once you have the Madness Ore, you will be able to create armor that is even stronger and heavier than its Daedric and Dragonbone counterparts. Madness Ore is quite rare and sometimes spawns in the boss chest of a dungeon.

Daedric & Stalhrim are equally good qualities in my opinion. The advantage that Stalhrim equipment has is the 25% bonus to Frost enchantments placed on them; so even if you aren't playing a Nord, you won't be dying from Frost Damage anytime soon if you do this. Either way, Heavy Armor is ultimately better for Stalhrim.

The recommended armor sets provide the greatest amount of ❤ Health, ❈ Defense, ❁ Damage and ✎ Intelligence out of all the Dungeon Armor sets.
